Fitzwilliam solicitors - our in-house legal practice
Uniquely, as a third party claims service provider, OSG has the facility of an in-house Legal Practice trading under the name of Fitzwilliam Solicitors. Fitzwilliam Solicitors provide a full range of Legal Services to OSG clients and are fully regulated under Law Society Rules.
The provision of such services allows the Group to provide a full suite of integrated Claims Management and Legal Claims Solutions in a cost effective and efficient manner. Insurers and our other clients benefit from this service in terms of efficiency and cost.
Early involvement of our in-house solicitor can often achieve considerable cost savings and facilitate early resolution of legal proceedings.
OSG recognise the need to preserve the traditional independence of a solicitor and the need for totally objective independent advice. As mentioned Fitzwilliam has been established under Law Society Rules in accordance with the Solictors Acts(1954/1994).
Our practising solicitor in Fitzwilliam is Mark McGuire. Prior to joining Fitzwilliam, Mark worked in the UK with Berkshire County Council and Morgan Cole Solicitors. He was admitted as a solicitor in 2000 in UK and 2003 in Ireland by the Law Society.
