OSG's travel claims service is provided by OSG Business Solutions and its Managing Director, Dick Harnett.
The travel claims service has grown considerably since its establishment in 2003 and we now handle over 20,000 individual claims per annum which involve dealing with policyholders during their travels to all parts of the globe.
Apart from the shorter claims lifecycles that we are achieving, we have a successful specialist recovery unit that helps to reduce the net cost of the claim to the insurer.
We feel that through product knowledge, expertise and local market experience we are ideally placed to provide an alternative to many of the current outsource solutions in this regard. Not only are we successful with Irish based business but provide an extremely competitive near-shore service for UK travel insurance business.
We are fully aware of the service requirements to comply with the Irish Financial Regulator's Consumer Protection Code and the UK's FSA Treating the Customer Fairly.
